A Women’s History Month Tribute
Taylor was born and raised in southern New Jersey. She attended Temple University and during her time there, discovered her love for human services, and helping give a voice to people who have been marginalized. Taylor went back to New Jersey to volunteer and work in Gloucester county at a victim services program. It was there that she discovered her drive to help young people who do not have access to the proper support systems for success
Taylor brings a passion for working with youth, empowering others, and giving the people the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in her current role as an Academic Success Coach at Hopeworks Camden.
With extensive experience in advocacy, victim services, and education, Taylor brings a wealth of experience and passion to her work in Camden, a city she knows well.
At Hopeworks, Taylor empowers youth to identify and develop their dreams by fostering within each trainee a sense of the value of education and to help each trainee improve in the basic skills of reading, writing and mathematics. Taylor designs coaching curriculum tailored to each trainee in a one-on-one, or small group, setting, allowing each Hopeworks youth to have the academic skills they need to achieve their dreams.
Join host, Dr. Stanley El as he welcomes Taylor to ‘The American Dream’ Wednesday, March 12, 2019 at 5pm only on Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS FM.
